The petals of rose flower are processed by the Enfleurage method in order to extract the Rose Floral Absolute oil which also shares its botanical name as Rosa damascene. In order to produce Rose oil of about one pound one needs to use 10000 pounds of flowers and it is essential that they are picked very early in the morning for oil extraction. Rose and its benefits are known to mankind since centuries. Mostly this oil is produced in South Bulgaria, where the valleys of Tundzha and Stryama rivers hold large plantations of rose fields. The extracted oil varies in its colours like yellowish or reddish orange and oozes the exotic floral scent.
Constituents – The extracted oil is made up of several components like Methyl Evgenol, Nerol, Evgenol, Ethyl alcohol, Citronelol, Phenyl ethyl, Geraniol etc.
Blends with – Rose Floral Absolute blends exceptionally well with other oils like Vanilla, chamomile, Geranium, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang etc.
