The oil has originated from the pomegranate plant scientifically known as Punica granatum which is a fruit bearing deciduous small tree which rises 5-8 metres high above the ground. The leaves of the plant are 3-7 cm long with a green glossy touch, whereas the flowers are bright red in color with 4-5 petals in each flower. The plant is native to Persia and is generally grown in drier climatic areas. The oil is extracted through cold pressed technique with the help of the fruits of the plant. The oil has a fresh fruity aroma with color ranging from transparent with little reddish note.
The oil blends with different essential and carrier oil which are cucumber, marigold, and rosemary, sage, lavender and alike.
The oil is purely extracted from pomegranate fruit with no chemical constituents.
