Olive oil and petals of Calendula are put in a jar and tightly sealed. The herb is allowed to infuse into the olive oil by keeping this mixture in such state for one to one and half month. - Half cup calendula infused oil prepared using almond oil as base oil
- 1/3 cup calendula infused coconut oil
- 2 cups white sugar
- 10-20 drops of calendula essential oil
10-20 drops of calendula essential oil In these infused oils, add calendula flowers separately.
First, add sugar in coconut oil and combine these well in a jar.
Now add sweet almond oil.
Once done, the calendula flower infused oils and essential oils are poured slowly. The white sugar is allowed to blend well with these herbal oils and a paste is prepared.This acts as homemade scrub and can be applied on face and hands.
Leave this scrub applied on the hand and face for about 5-10 minutes before washing them off.
